Based in Seoul National University’s School of Transdisciplinary Innovations (Sustainable Technology major) and the Department of Civil, Urban and Environmental Engineering, the Computational Optimization for Decarbonization of Energy Infrastructure (CODE) Lab is committed to advancing computational frameworks that support both climate change adaptation and mitigation.

The CODE Lab is currently seeking up to 4 highly motivated MS/PhD students to join us in Spring 2027.
Successful candidates will be supported by the NRF Distinguished Young Researcher Grant (우수신진연구) to work on a 5-year (2026-2030) project titled, "Enhancing the Longevity and Cost-Efficiency of Renewable Energy Infrastructure through AI-Powered Design Optimization."
